Clare is an experienced healthcare improvement professional with broad and varied experience in leading improvement and facilitating change through others, both in the NHS and within a top USA Hospital System.
Clare’s varied experience has included leading patient safety projects, leading the governance agenda at University Hospital Southampton and implementing both large scale change and improvement teaching whilst working in the USA. Returning to UHS in 2011 Clare is currently focused on supporting service transformation / organisational development and provides teaching and coaching both within UHS and regionwide.
Amongst other qualifications Clare is certified Six Sigma Black Belt, certified project management professional, has a Psychology degree and an MSc in Total Quality Management/ Organisational Excellence. Clare was also accepted into the founding cohort of the Health Foundation ‘Q Initiative’ in recognition of her knowledge and experience.
Clare will be working with Wessex AHSN to co-project manage the establishment of the Community of Safety and Improvement Practice alongside Siobhan O’Donnell during 2016.
