Siobhan is Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Lead for Health Education England (Wessex) and has worked for the organisation since 2007. She has worked in a number of roles to support the organisation, including Quality and Workforce Manager for five years, working with education providers and the General Medicine Council to ensure the quality of training for junior doctors, before moving into multiprofessional quality and now quality improvement.
Since summer 2015, Siobhan has been working to champion, further develop and support the delivery of quality improvement education and initiatives in order to improve the capability of individuals and employers providing health care services to improve patient safety throughout all services across Wessex, including providing leadership to the Health Education England - Wessex School of Quality Improvement.
Siobhan’s academic background includes a degree in law and Masters degree in Criminal Justice.
Siobhan will be working with Wessex AHSN to co-project manage the establishment of the Community of Safety and Improvement Practice alongside Clare Fountain during 2016.
