Dr Richard Guerrero-Ludueña is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Implementation Science – Wessex Academic Health Science Network, within the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southampton. Richard’s expertise is the application of Operational Research modelling in Healthcare. He joined the Faculty of Health Sciences in April 2015 after a year as a Visitor at the Business School of the University of Southampton. Previously he was a researcher at the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM), Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), Barcelona.
Richard obtained a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Talca (Chile), an MSc in Process and Systems Engineering Research from the University of Valladolid (Spain) and a PhD at the University of Barcelona (Spain). His work focuses upon the application of Operational Research modelling and data-centric techniques to make best use of healthcare resources.
