Anastasios Argyropoulos is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Implementation Science – based within the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southampton. Before joining the CIS he worked as an Associate Research Fellow at the Environment and Sustainability Institute (College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences) at the University of Exeter.
Anastasios’ work focuses on data analytics and the development of healthcare technologies aiming to optimise patient diagnosis and treatment both directly (prediction model development), and indirectly (data analysis and visualisation). He is now working on supporting various Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) quality improvement programmes. These projects involve working with national open data sets as well as Wessex-wide individual patient records.
