Wessex AHSN has been shortlisted in two categories for the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards. The HSJ Awards are the largest celebration of excellence in UK healthcare, highlighting the most innovative and successful people and projects in the sector.
Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) run by Hampshire Constabulary and Isle of Wight NHS Trust, and supported by Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and Health Education Wessex, has been shortlisted in the Most Effective Adoption and Diffusion of Best Practice category.
SIM is recognised as being effective at bringing together policing and healthcare skills to achieve a positive difference to the lives of mental health patients and their families.
Our Polypharmacy project has also been shortlisted alongside NHS Business Services Authority in the Enhancing Care by Sharing Data and Information category for creating the first England Polypharmacy Prescribing Comparators.
The awards ceremony will be held at Intercontinental O2, London on Wednesday 22nd November.
