A medical device enhancing safety and care for patients requiring an arterial line in operating theatres and intensive care
The Non-Injectable Arterial Connector (NIC) is a low-cost, simple device that stops wrong-route drug administraiton, reduces arterial line-related infrections, and prevents blood loss during sampling.
The NIC is a needle free arterial connector which includes a one-way valve that will allow normal clinical duties to be performed with the added safety of preventing administration of medication into an arterial line.
