Alternative solution for securement of PICC lines avoiding movement or dislodging at insertion site

SecurAcath is an alternative PICC securement device solution developed to target the reduction of securement device replacements, catheter-associated complications and catheter replacement procedures.

The device works by securing a fixed point on the line to the patient through sub-cutaneous “feet” which, once expanded, anchor around the perimeter of line’s insertion site. The device is designed to last as long as the lifespan of the line. It remains in situ for all activities and should only be changed when damage has occurred or for removal of the line. 

Securacath is CE marked and supported by NICE Medical Technology Guidance MTG34.
