Date: 2016

This 2016 report is linked to Wessex Primary Care project https://wessexahsn.org.uk/projects/168/the-wessex-primary-care-project. GPs were asked to do a live audit for 2 weeks to find out whether and which Health care practitioners could replace them in face-to-face consultations with patients who presented with one condition.  The study (212 questionnaires from 23 GP practices spanning 9 CCGs) led to free online resources created for Wessex-based GP surgeries and CCGs to encourage forward planning and full use of non-GP staff (Skills Matrix tool, Workforce tool and RAG tool)
