This 2019 chapter is a literature overview of interventions both reminiscence therapy-based (recalling and sharing memories from the past can assist in retaining self-identity and enhance overall well-being) and intergenerational to foster greater increased social inclusion and understanding between generations aimed at older people and people living with dementia [PLDs]. The overview includes an extended section on the first two years of the Wessex Memory Box project.
