Anu is a GP with a passion for transformation and complex change management within health systems. He has a portfolio career that spans primary, community and acute care and has held various management and leadership positions.
Previously he was the Clinical Lead for Primary Care Transformation and System Integration with Dorset CCG and oversaw the development of Primary Care Networks and whole system working which formed the basis of the Integrated Care System in Dorset.
He has worked as the Department of Health as a Clinical Advisor to the Chief Medical Officer and BUPA Health Dialog, where he was involved in the development, spread and adoption of population health management and shared decision making tools throughout the NHS. More recently he has been involved in digital health innovation and the start-up world.
He started his role as Clinical Advisor for Cancer Innovation in November 2020. This is a joint role with the Wessex AHSN and Wessex Cancer Alliance with the aim of introducing innovations that will lead to the earlier diagnosis of cancer.
