Martin Moth

Programme Manager – Nationally Prioritised Innovations

Martin works in the Nationally Prioritised Innovations team with a focus on both existing and upcoming innovations in the MedTech Funding Mandate portfolio.

Martin has worked in digital since the early days of desktop publishing back in the late 1980s. After successful stints in computer games in the 1990s and digital agencies, he moved into the NHS in 2009 to specialise in digital health. Initially joining NHS Direct to run their website and create award-winning symptom checkers, he segued to NHS Digital where he was responsible for all the interactive health tools on the NHS.UK site, such as the BMI Calculator and Heart Age Test, which generate over 20 million completed uses a year. With experience on both the technical and marketing sides of product development, he qualifies himself as a ‘geek in a suit’.
