Paul Steynor

Programme Manager Industry & Innovation

Paul Steynor is the Programme Manager in the Industry and Innovation team. He works closely with our NHS organisations to understand their priorities, with a view to bringing together NHS leaders and innovators to explore possible solutions. Paul previously worked at Derby and Great Ormond Street Hospitals, holding roles in Research Management & Governance where he was responsible for clinical trial set up and project management. He then spent 5 years working with various universities as a Research and Business Development Manager, responsible for securing research and innovation project funding, IP protection and commercialisation, and contract management. In his final 12 months prior to joining Wessex AHSN, Paul worked to establish the Global Disability Innovation Hub, a multi-partner, multi-disciplinary research and innovation centre based on the Olympic Park.
