Katie Taylor

Programme Manager Innovation Adoption

Katie is an Innovation Adoption Programme Manager. She is Programme Manager for two of the national priority programmes for the AHSN; the SIM integrated workforce model that brings the police and community mental health services together to support the highest intensity users of services, and the Emergency Laparotomy Programme aimed at supporting local hospital trusts to improve outcomes for patients undergoing emergency laparotomy surgery.

Prior to joining Wessex AHSN, Katie was a GP Practice Manager in Surrey, leading on practice development and working collaboratively with local community services on integration projects. Time as a Director of the local GP Federation provided vital insight into the challenges for Primary Care in achieving the NHS agenda of better and more holistic integration of services. Prior to this she managed three GP practices including a walk-in centre in Surrey.

Katie is new to Southampton and looking forward to embracing life by the sea and the proximity to the great outdoors of Dorset and the New Forest.
