Covid Oximetry - both within primary and secondary care - is an enhanced package of remote monitoring (of symptoms and oxygen saturations) for patients with confirmed/suspected Covid-19, who are at risk of future deterioration/admission, or who can be discharged early from hospital, provided within a patient’s own home (or usual residence) overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT) from either the community or hospital.
Our pages are designed to provide you with resources for both Covid Oximetry @home (primary care) and Covid Virtual Ward (secondary care). There are a variety of different models that can be flexed or adapted dependent on local system and geography. They are suitable for anyone wanting to set up a Covid virtual ward across health and social care.
