On 1st November 2018, around 40 people gathered for our second 'Community of Practice' meeting, held at Merley House in Dorset. Delegates included healthcare professionals, carers, commissioners and academics with a special interest in healthy ageing. The meeting highlighted projects and updates from around Wessex, with a special focus on hydration. The agenda along with the presentations can be downloaded from the 'Resources' sections on this page.
The recent event covered Kent Surrey and Sussex, Oxford and Wessex AHSN regions with presentations from Professor Martin Vernon from NHS England and the Getting it Right the First Time (GIRFT) and Right Care programmes. The role of data, technology and frailty practitioners was also considered throughout the day.
A selection of presentations can be downloaded from the 'Resources' section on this page. All presentations and data sets can also be accessed from the KSS AHSN website.
A report summarising the event has been written up and can be viewed and downloaded through Slideshare, or downloaded as a PDF from the 'Resources' section.
