In 2019, the Primary Care Innovations programme hosted a very special expo-style event.
The day's agenda, exhibitor and speaker information and event floor plan is downloadable on the bottom right-hand side of this page. We tweeted throughout the day too: see #PCInnovations19 for more information. On the day, we generated an amazing 850,000 twitter impressions!
The day's slides are now also available - see below.
The highly interactive event was a mix of inspiring speakers and an exhibition of ready-to-go innovations for health and social care.
We heard from national speakers, who are leading in the spaces of primary care and digital innovations; and local leaders, who will set the context across Wessex.
Delegates also got to meet innovators, and view and try exciting innovations which have been designed to save the NHS time and money, enhance patient pathways and, most importantly, improve patient care. This included exciting diagnostic innovations, virtual reality and many apps and platforms to help health and social care innovations. Most of these innovations are ready to use in the NHS, or looking for evaluation in NHS settings as part of research projects.
There was also the opportunity to view innovations that are being supported/promoted by the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) and Innovation Technology Payment (ITP).
