Hampshire and Isle of Wight Digital Self-Care Project
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICS Digital Self-Care project is a local initiative that is designed to foster a community of Demonstrator Sites across the area to influence change not just for Demonstrator Site volunteers but the wider ICS.
The HIOW ICS digital self-care project aims to understand the long-term condition priorities within Hampshire and Isle of Wight and the preference for technologies. Thorough engagement sessions with the workforce and patients have provided the foundations for the innovations for Demonstrator Sites. These digital self-care pilots, supported by evaluations, will inform the ICS on the most efficient, effective and impactful technologies for scale-up consideration.
The HIOW ICS Digital Self-Care Demonstrator Sites launched in July 2021, with digital self-care pilots ending in spring/summer 2022. Evaluation findings will be published in June and August 2022, at which point steps to consider spread and adoption will be made.
