Wessex AHSN working with regional partners, including Health Education England (Wessex), hosts the Community of Safety, Quality and Improvement Practice (CSQIP).
CSQIP was established in response to feedback from many clinical and non-clinical staff, who felt that being able to join with other colleagues working across Wessex would be very beneficial to projects and patients.
What is CSQIP?
CSQIP is a Wessex wide network that will offer the opportunity to connect individuals and projects across health and care in areas of innovation, quality improvement and patient safety.
It helps people to share successes, learn from each other and speed up the adoption of good practices that make a difference to our patients.
Quarterly newsletters sharing latest case studies, events and QI evidence base are available to our members. We are currently reviewing other opportunities to network, make contacts, pool ideas, share resources and engage with peer support in order to share and learn together across Wessex.
Who can join CSQIP?
We want to connect people in Wessex who are helping to drive innovation, improvement and patient safety activities in health and care. This could be within a department, along a patient pathway, as part of a clinical network, or across an organisation(s). They should also have a desire to share knowledge, successes and experience to support improvement for patients in the NHS.
How do you join CSQIP?
To register for CSQIP please email us with details of your full name, job title and organisation.
The value and success of the Community will be driven by a vibrant membership so we would really encourage you to share this information with anyone who may be interested in joining.
Q Community
CSQIP also links with the Q Community which is led by the Health Foundation and supported and co-funded by NHS England, connecting people skilled in improvement across the UK. Q will make it easier for people from all parts of the health care system with expertise in improvement to share ideas, enhance their skills and make changes that benefit patients.
For more information about the Q community, visit our dedicated Wessex webpage. You can join on the Q Community website.
If you have any questions about CSQIP or any other aspects of the Wessex Patient Safety Collaborative, or any information you would like to disseminate to the Community members via the newsletter please contact us by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.
