The Covid Oximetry at Home work (sometimes called a "virtual ward") describes an enhanced package of remote monitoring (of symptoms and oxygen saturations) for patients with confirmed/suspected Covid-19 who are at risk of future deterioration/admission, provided within a patient’s own home (or usual residence) overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT) from either the community or hospital.

Primary care networks are the new way for local health services to work together to treat populations of around 30-50,000.
With the support of NHS England, primary care networks will help practices in England to achieve the objectives set out in the General Practice Forward View, the five year plan for general practice which began in 2016.
Supported by Wessex Local Medical Committees and led by Dr Matt Inada-Kim (HHFT) and Dr Karen Kirkham (Dorset CCG), this webinar offers an opportunity to learn from the experiences of four pilot sites and understand how this approach could be used to support service development.
