Covid Oximetry at Home on BBC South Today

The Covid Oximetry at Home work (sometimes called a "virtual ward") describes an enhanced package of remote monitoring (of symptoms and oxygen saturations) for patients with confirmed/suspected Covid-19 who are at risk of future deterioration/admission, provided within a patient’s own home (or usual residence) overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT) from either the community or hospital.

Primary Care Networks

Primary care networks are the new way for local health services to work together to treat populations of around 30-50,000.

With the support of NHS England, primary care networks will help practices in England to achieve the objectives set out in the General Practice Forward View, the five year plan for general practice which began in 2016.
