Industry and Enterprise Programme Manager

Salary £45,753 to £51,668 a year (Band 8a)

We are seeking a programme manager to help innovators get their products to patients faster; to improve outcomes, lower costs and build the UKs health and life science economy. The post holder will manage a range of projects to support clinical, academic and commercial innovators prepare their products for widespread scale and adoption.

The successful applicant will have good influencing and networking skills, experience of the health and life science sector within the UK, and an understanding of the innovation landscape. We are looking for a well organised, inquisitive individual, who can catalyse relationships, build networks and deliver measurable outcomes.

Working within the Innovation Exchange commissioned from the Office for Life Sciences, you will help bridge the gap between unmet NHS needs and developed or developing innovations, to ensure new products meet NHS needs, are supported by appropriate level of evidence, and regulatory compliance.

Associate Director, Patient Safety

Are you an enthusiastic, organised and self motivated individual with a passion for improving the quality of patient safety? We are an ambitious, forward thinking, organisation looking to recruit to our Associate Director - Patient Safety role.  You will be responsible for the delivery of our national commission from NHSEI consisting of five safety improvement programmes, managing a team of programme managers and working in partnership with the providers and commissioners across Wessex.  You will work closely with the other 14 Patient Safety Collaboratives across England.  

Our ambition is to develop QI capability, support the development of a safety culture, encourage patient, family and carer involvement and the spread and adoption of evaluated initiatives through the delivery of our programmes. 

You will be a member of Wessex AHSNs Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that the patient safety programmes are integral to the wider working of the AHSN.
