Sam is Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and has over 15 years experience in a wide range of administrative roles. Sam began her career working for the pharma company Protherics, undertaking a variety of roles including HR, Quality Assurance and Travel Co-ordinator.
On relocation to Southampton, Sam joined Southampton City Council’s Health and Adult Social Care Business Support team, initially leading the implementation of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards amendment to the Mental Capacity Act across care homes in Southampton.
Following this, Sam worked as PA to the Head of Adult Social Care for a number of years before moving to Project Management for a Council wide upgrade of the client record system. Sam joined Health Innovation Wessex (formerly Wessex AHSN) in 2015.
