In Our Own Words by Nadia Kuftinoff at Wessex Academic Health Science Network

Nadia Kuftinoff, Programme Coordinator for the Innovation Adoption Team explains her role during the COVID-19 pandemic and how she stepped up to programme manage digital first projects within a Primary Care setting.

She answers these questions:

What challenges have you faced during COVID-19 and how did you tackle these / what have you had to do differently?

What difference did being in a crisis situation make to the usual work processes / practices?

Did anything go wrong?

What will stick? Will you or others have work to do after COVID-19 to make sure it sticks?

What learning or advice can you share from this experience that might help how the NHS does things in the future?

NHS Reset: Capturing learning during Covid-19

Implementation Discussion Series - Rapid Insight Programme

Rapid Insight Programme

A rapid case study with North and Mid Hampshire Integrated Care Partnership on the use of remote consultations.

Dr Charlotte Hutchings (Deputy Clinical Chair North Hampshire CCG, Macmillan GP, GP at Odiham and Old Basing Surgeries in Hampshire) and Philippa Darnton (Associate Director of Insight, Wessex Academic Health Science Network) present learning from their new programme designed to provide rapid insights into the Covid-19 pandemic response at a health system level.

Wessex AHSN formed a Rapid Insight Team in April this year to work alongside its member organisations to capture learning about the changes they had put in place, and to help them to understand which of these they would want to keep and develop in the longer term. This session, recorded in September 2020, focuses on one case study relating to the use of remote consultations to explore the background and purpose of the work, the nature of the Rapid Insight approach, and the learning that surfaced.
